At this point, days after the assassination attempt, it has become clear that this was an inside job. The United States government resourced, radicalized, trained, then activated the shooter; whilst the United States Secret Service (USSS) provided ample opportunity for the assassination to occur. Moreover, there were likely multiple shooters; positioning the “lone gunman” decedent to be the "deranged" decoy. The obvious unprofessional position of the shooter does not support the accuracy of the shots. The bullet hit Trump's ear. For this to occur, the shooter would have to be extremely skilled; including the positioning. The shooter would be unlikely to be openly exposed on a roof; nor given the opportunity to fire multiple shots. The facts give persuasive evidence that Trump’s assassination attempt was strategically conducted by more than one entity. Moreover, these efforts were seemingly well-coordinated. But the shooter has been shown in multiple videos to be openly climbing up the building, without attempting to conceal himself. Onlookers report to giving authorities notice of his position, two minutes before the attack. Reuters accounts that direct knowledge was given to authorities thirty minutes before the assassination attempt occurred, (Reuters). The United States Secret Service (USSS) was able to track the shooter, and waited until multiple shots were fired before taking action. The USSS was historically slow to cover the former president; who was left to discern the threat and seek cover. It is extremely unlikely that the shooter possessed the resources to conduct this elaborate assassination attempt. Further, it is even more unlikely that the United States Secret Service would wait until the shooter had multiple chances to hit Trump before responding to the threat. But the assassination attempt still occurred.
