Assembly Bill A.416 Halted Over Nefarious Wording
As America enters the new year, New York State legislators seek to grab ahold of society, drafting insidious preparations, in an attempt to further divide and control the citizens of the state of New York. Living in an age of information, these plans are publicly posted online, accessible for all citizens yet few are aware. Bills are quietly drafted, hoping to be passed before the public takes note, which often ends up being the case. This however, was not the case with Assembly Bill A.416
Assembly Bill A.416, drafted directly against the rights of each New Yorker, would allow forcible detainment of any individual without trial, as determined by the state. Assembly Bill A.416 was extremely anti-American, and would place the civil rights of each citizen in a vulnerable position. A position that would ensure the compliance from each individual, towards a collectivist goal. Failure to comply would result in removal from society and re-education. This legislation horrifyingly parallels the Chinese Communist Party, an oppressive regime which is still in effect, and supported by many American companies today.
Assembly Bill A.416
Assembly Bill A.4161 would have allowed the Governor to imprison anyone without trial, who could be ‘considered a threat to public health’. This includes those who refuse to comply with public health measures, or refuse to receive consistent COVID-19 booster vaccinations.
Assembly Bill A4162 “Relates to the removal of cases, contacts and carriers of communicable diseases that are potentially dangerous to the public health.”
Rise of the Resistance
Across New York citizens rallied together bringing awareness to the legislation that would inhibit the freedoms of the individual. Before long, thousands of informed citizens began voicing their concerns on social media. These concerned citizens would quickly be dismissed as “conspiracy theorists”, gaining blame for the removal of the bill. Assuming the original intent of the bill was innocently drafted, the legislation gave too much opportunity for malicious opportunistic oligarchs to abuse the law for their own benefit.
Assemblyman Nick Perry
Thanks to the rise of the people against the monopoly of the state, Assembly Bill A.416, was halted and removed by New York State Assemblyman Nick Perry. On December 20th, 2021, Assemblyman Perry surrendered via Twitter3
“Conspiracy theorists, and those who spread misinformation online are once again trolling on social media, posting concocted stories about A.416.”
“To deprive these individuals the ability to use this issue for fuel to spread their fire of lies and mistruths, I will take the appropriate legislative action to strike the bill, remove it from the calendar, thus ending all consideration, and actions that could lead to the passage into law.”
“Get vaccinated and stay safe.”
The Information Revolution
Together, the people of New York united against the tyrannical overreach of the state’s legislators. Seeing the deceit drafted into the bill, the information resistance united together, and prevailed. The Assemblyman publicly backing down on an oppressive bill shows that public access to congressional information, as well as public action, can make a difference.
Reaching out to state representatives, and increasing awareness of the potential atrocities at hand, are indispensable tools, often overlooked. Choosing to act as an “extension of the state”, simply to order avoid conflict from normal everyday life, results in a world where choices don’t matter. In socialist-communist societies everything has already been determined. With total power, comes eventual corruption, leading to mass oppression and devastation.
Conclusion
America is a country where individuality matters, and law-abiding citizens have the freedom to exist. Those accused of crimes have the right to a trial. To reduce these factors pulls our nation back to a primitive state. It is legislation like the A.416 bill, that brings question to the nature of those who have been elected to power. As New York State continues to draft authoritative legislation, what other nefarious bills are currently being concocted behind the scenes?
